Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Prov. 3:5-6 KJV

“…and make good choices for yourself!” Our son’s elementary school principal would conclude each day’s announcements over the PA system with those words. I was reminded of this recently, and realized that advice was ageless. We all have to make choices daily, and those that we make as adults (and as teenagers, too) can have serious, enduring consequences. However, if we will include God in every aspect, every decision of every day, He has promised to help us with those decisions.

Sounds like there’s really only one good choice we have to make for ourselves ourself, isn’t there?

Prayer Focus: Jesus, You have all the answers before I even think of the questions. Help me to seek out Your wisdom before leaning on my own.
